Machine & Process Control ControllersCourse explains fundamental concepts used to control machines and processes, differences between hard wired logic and programmable logic and methods used to change logic. Emphasis is placed on what a programmable logic controller (PLC) is and how it uses hardware and software to implement programmable logic. Topics include manual, semi-automatic and automatic control, hard wired logic, related control components and logic circuits. Additional topics include programmable logic, PLC hardware and software, power supply, CPU, memory and I/O components, solving program logic, memory organization and PLC types. |
